OG Christmas Party

This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of joining our two kids at the Operations Group (OG) Christmas Party! What an adventure, the kids of course loved it! It was filled with bouncy houses, games, crafts and lots of junk food. Plus, Santa and one of his cute elves stopped by, Luke was really excited, he really doesn't know Santa, but has heard that you can tell him what you want for Christmas, you just might get it, so Luke explained that he really, really wanted Dinoco Blue Chick Hicks for Christmas (his list changes everyday, but this one has been constantly on his list). I think he must have told Santa at least three times that he really wanted this car. On beknownst to Luke, because he can't read and doesn't know where to for my secret hiding places, he will be getting Dinoco Blue Chick Hicks. On the other hand, Aubrey, did not want to have any part of Santa and his elf. She ran away screaming and crying, as seen below.

He shoots, he scores!!!

Here's our new favorite winter activity--hockey! I even convinced Kyle to buy ice skates and he's pretty good for never skating. Luke loves to go down to the school behind our house, which has an ice rink and shoot hockey pucks.

Thanksgiving 2008

We spent Thanksgiving at our friends house with a couple of other families. All the kids would flock to one of the adults and have them 'do' something with them, I just happen to have my camera and took this picture of Kyle reading to all the kids on the recliner. It was too cute!

Aubrey the Purple Marker Eater

Aubrey has been on the rampage of eating colored markers, I finally caught her purple-mouthed (instead of red-handed) and took a picture of her. The other night she came downstairs and it looked like she ate a whole batch of chocolate pudding, it was all over her face and mouth, instead it was a black marker. Thank goodness, it was a washable marker and not a permanent maker!

Candance's Birthdday

Well, another year has come and gone and I had my birthday. Notice the cake, says 28, we didn't have anymore candles that represented my real age, but that actually works for me! :) The kids were more excited than anyone else was, well, maybe Kyle was a little since he got to have birthday cake.

Happy Halloween 2008

We all dressed up for the annual Halloween neighborhood party. Kyle and I did role reversal, he went as a stay at home Dad and I went as the bread winner, AF pilot. The kids were in their regular costumes. They had such a blast Trick-or-Treating and it wasn't too terrible cold this year. Trick-or-Treating up here has a 'whole' different meaning to it when your kids have to wear snow boots and snow gloves and wear tons of layers under their costumes.
